Basketball Betting Odds Comparison
Since 2008, a 13 seed has beaten a 4 seed each year. We expect this trend to continue this season. If you look at some of the scores of these games, you’ll see that the 13 seed traditionally keeps it very close. You can use this knowledge to exploit wide point spreads when betting college basketball games.
Wisconsin vs. Montana – Wisconsin has the talent to be a 2 or 3 seed and we don’t expect an upset to occur in this game. Look for Wisconsin to overpower and overmatch Montana and bounce them out of the tournament. We don’t expect Montana to keep it close at all and you should take Wisconsin and the points if the margin is anything less than 10.
Indiana versus New Mexico State – Although Indiana has wins over several top 5 teams this year, including Kentucky, Ohio State and Michigan State, we expect Indiana to receive stiff resistance against New Mexico State. Indiana will win this game but we don’t expect the Hoosiers to win by more than 5 points. They are missing one of their best players in Verdell Jones which will make it tough for the Hoosiers to advance very far in this years NCAA tournament.
