Western Kentucky – Although the Hilltoppers will have a very difficult draw, their team was rejuvenated by the mid season hire of new head coach Ray Harper. Harper has 4 national championships under his belt from Division 2 and the NAIA levels and his presence has helped the Toppers in rebounding and defense. The Hilltoppers will most likely be a #16 seed and will have to play a play-in game. If they win, they will be matched up against a number 1 seed. Although no #16 seed has ever beaten a #1 seed, this team isn’t your typical #16 seed.

Murray State – Murray has only lost 1 game this season and avenged their only loss by beating the team that beat them twice. Murray can shoot the lights out and their deep run in the NCAA tournament last year is just a teaser as to what this team is capable of doing this season.
